 We launched Cancer Over Cameras after running a contest during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We planned to offer a free photo shoot to one deserving woman. We chose an amazing woman with Stage IV cancer (click here for her story), but the response was so overwhelming, and all the stories submitted very moving. We knew we had to find a way to offer this free service to as many women and families as possible!

 

Our goal with Cameras Over Cancer is to enlist photographers and makeup professionals in every state to provide free beauty makeovers and portraits to women with terminal illnesses. It's amazing how a makeover can help restore self-esteem and boost morale for women battling cancer. And, a professional photo gives their families an enduring image of their loved one; something they may never have had before.

 

We want to help Photographers get clients while allowing Cancer patients to receive affordable Fine Art Photography.

 

As a professional photographer and registered nurse with 13 years of experience working in hospital emergency rooms, I'm excited to wed my passion for photography with helping women with major health problems. Along with my friend, a personal trainer Christina, we own DNA Premium Photography, a professional photography studio.
